Why study at

Trinity

A lifetime of effective ministry.

Our goal it to provide the depth of learning you need to be equipped for a lifetime of effective ministry. Our commitment to you as a student is to offer learning that is bible-based, people-focused, and Christ-centred.

Bible-based

Upholding the Bible as the ultimate authority, the Scriptures provide everything that is necessary to equip God’s people “for every good work” (2 Tim 3:16). The key task in ministry then, is to ably and faithfully teach and apply the Word of God so that God’s people will be fed and grow into maturity.

Faithfully handling Scripture requires wisdom & skill.

These are taught and modelled in our teaching. Our degree courses, accredited by the Australian University of Theology, are designed to enable you to have a deep understanding of the Bible and to discern its implications for life and ministry. Our faculty are academic specialists in their field with practical experience in ministry, who will help to sharpen your understanding of God’s Word.

People-focused

Ministry is about people, so our training takes place with people in mind. Our students learn how to communicate the gospel clearly to people in a variety of contexts, and care for those whom they are called to shepherd. We believe that learning in community is a vital part of ministry training.

A supportive, worshipful community.

At College, our students spur one another on in faith and love. This takes place through face-to-face classes, pastoral care groups, community lunches, chapel and serving on mission together. These interpersonal relationships are important as we seek to digest the riches of God’s Word taught in the classroom, work out how it applies to our lives and ministries, and share one another’s joys and struggles, and often continue long after graduation.

Christ-centred

All Scripture points to Christ, so every aspect of our College aims to be Christ-centred. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour, the full and final revelation of God. Jesus is the fulfilment of all of God’s promises and purposes revealed in the Scriptures, and reconciled us to the Father through his death on the cross.

The reason we do what we do.

We keep Christ at the centre of our life, teaching, community and ministry so we can grow in Christ together and serve him in a way that lifts him up and glorifies him.
