For those aiming to enter vocational ministry, we offer three-year courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Our courses are accredited by the Australian University of Theology, and are suitable for training men and women who wish to serve in full-time ministry. If you are interested in postgraduate research, there is the opportunity to undertake a research project with us if a faculty member is available to supervise your area of interest.
Trinity is approved to deliver the following courses of the Australian University of Theology (AUT) (CRICOS Provider Code 02650E) to overseas students.

The Bachelor of Theology (BTH20) is an undergraduate degree (AQF Level 7) that better equips you to communicate the gospel faithfully. It provides a grounding for ministry by establishing a strong foundation in theological knowledge and appropriate skills for a range of ministry positions.

The Master of Divinity (MDiv) is a postgraduate degree (AQF Level 9) that provides a high level biblical and theological framework for communicating the gospel faithfully. You will also gain appropriate skills for a range of ministry positions.

The Master of Theology (Research) is a postgraduate course (AQF Level 9) designed to further equip theology graduates for teaching ministries through research in one area of specialisation. Areas of specialisation include Bible and Language, Christian Thought, and Ministry and Practice.
Perth is a relatively small and quiet city, surrounded by nature, located on the banks of the Swan River and with pristine beaches. Trinity Theological College is easily accessible by train, bus, car and bicycle. At least one of these referees should be able to comment on the student’s involvement in the life and ministry of the Church and where possible give an assurance that a suitable ministry position will be available in the student’s home country on completion of the course.
As the application process for international students can take at least three months, applications should reach the Registrar by 1 April for the July intake or 1 September for the February intake in the following year.
Prospective students should be aware that the College does not currently offer any scholarships or accommodation.
Prior to admission into an AUT course delivered in English, applicants are required to prove their level of English language capacity to be admitted into their chosen course
Applicants who do not have English as their primary language are required to provide evidence of proficiency in reading, written and spoken English. This may be through certified copies of certificates or transcripts of studies completed in English or the satisfactory completion of the Academic Version of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with the test result being no more than two years old prior to the commencement of the first enrolment in the proposed course. Our College is also able to verify and receive IELTS results directly. For more details, please speak with our Registrar.

As per the National Code 2018, providers have the option to offer online study for overseas students, allowing them to undertake up to one-third of their course remotely. However, it’s essential to be aware that the AUT course progress policy permits overseas students to undertake only up to 25 percent of the total course off-campus. Additionally, it’s important to note that overseas students are not allowed to enrol exclusively in distance or online learning units in any semester.*
The National Code is a set of nationally consistent standards that governs the protection of overseas students and delivery of courses to those students by providers registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). Overseas students are advised to become familiar with the ESOS Framework, which provides the regulatory requirements for the Australian University of Theology and other providers of education to overseas students in Australia. It provides overseas students with protection. The National Code is available here.
The Australian University of Theology and its affiliated colleges are required to comply with the standards articulated in the National Code, and all documentation for your study can be found in the handbooks and policy documents of the AUT, as well as information given to you by Trinity Theological College.
