At Trinity, our mission is to prepare people for effective Christian service which upholds, proclaims, and is shaped by the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Preparing for this gospel ministry involves laying important foundations for a lifetime of faithful and fruitful service. Our rigorous courses aim to provide students with solid biblical foundations that last, covering Bible frameworks and exegesis, theology, church history, and ministry skills. Our faculty team is deeply committed to helping you grow your knowledge and love of God as you undertake training for his kingdom work.
A key distinctive of Trinity is our emphasis on community, which is particularly expressed through face-to-face learning and interpersonal relationships. We bring God’s Word to bear on students’ equipping as shepherds as we study it together and live it out together. Fostering a community that sits under and delights in the Word of God is precious to us because it is precious to Christ.
As an interdenominational theological college, we are privileged to have students from a multitude of church denominations, which enriches and sharpens our learning as we come together united in the gospel. We are also blessed to be the recognised training college for Westminster Presbyterian Church, the Presbyterian Church in Western Australia and Anglican Diocese of North West Australia.
No matter where the Lord has called you to serve, our hope and prayer is that your time at Trinity will be transformative as the Lord reveals the glory of his Son Jesus through the riches of Scripture.
Please get in touch and let us know how we can come alongside you, we look forward to meeting you.
Dan Cole
Principal
Trinity Theological College was formed at the end of 1997 with the merging of the Perth Centre for Applied Christian Studies (PCACS) and Westminster Theological College, Perth.
This followed two years of prayer, planning, and preparations by college boards and principals Dr Allan Chapple (PCACS) and Dr Stephen Rarig. Trinity was first located at Bull Creek Westminster Presbyterian Church from 1998-2003, and has offered courses accredited by the Australian University of Theology since it began.
Trinity is governed by a council elected from a board of trustees.
The Trustees are united in the common conviction that God’s mission is enhanced and his Church is encouraged through thoroughly equipped servants of God – servants who will faithfully point others to Christ, the Saviour of the world.
